Overview

You request Aurea to turn off the Welcome Letter Generation. The Letter templates/EFL templates/Contract Templates are outdated and show the wrong terminology. Also, the TDU Pricing for ERCOT has not been updated so it shows the wrong Average rates (perhaps promo code related). If not possible to turn it off, you want to display a blank page for the letter.

Solution

Please raise a support ticket with us and we will disable the task at our end that generates Welcome Letters for your customers.

Prerequisites:

• Access to the Task Toaster site

Steps:

1. Log into the Task Toaster site.
   The Tasks dashboard is displayed.
   Enter the keyword Maintenance.GenerateWelcomePacket in the text box and hit Enter to search for the task. 
   From the displayed search ​result, click on Task Name Maintenance.GenerateWelcomePacket.

2. On the resultant screen, under Client Settings -> Client, uncheck/deselect the checkbox for the “cron” setting for the client who has raised the request.
   
   Note: There is no Save button. So, as soon as the checkbox is unchecked, the cron is disabled.
   
   

3. Refresh the page.
   The client for whom the task is turned off should display in Disabled for under Client Settings -> Client.
